You may be aware that the Scottish Government has updated its advice to schools on the measures we need to take in response to Covid-19. I would like to highlight a couple of key changes in relation to face coverings- please see attached.
From Monday 2nd November:
- Parents/ carers should wear face-coverings when coming to the school for drop-off and pick up of children. This includes while waiting outside of the school playground.
- Staff and other adults will now be required to wear face coverings in corridors and communal areas around the school and in class if they are working within 2m of anyone else.
- Resources such as books can come home without needing to be quarantined as long as children/adults wash hands before and after touching them.
I will update you with any other changes as necessary, and will amend the school risk assessment on the website with these changes.
Kind regards
Annemarie Sands
